Okay, I've got thinking about a story of a group of marines ('morally-good mercenaries') and their battles through out the Starcraft universe and their major events. I have an idea of the group meeting during the fall of Tarsonis or Char. They meet and come from different backgrounds. Staff Sargent Jackson Stonewall the III Taken in by the military at age of 10, this man is as strong as a ton of bricks. He has a dark past and the group can tell but never asks. He's smart on the field, but is only bred for battle. He formed the squad and was a part of the confederacy (old families) before. Im thinking that he will be killed off. I'm unsure if it would be half-way through or the end. Corporal Blake O'Riley He is the main protagonist. Joining the Confederate army 3 years before the fall of Char, he knew his original squad well. He is more humane than most and will think of civillians before himself. He has been under Sgt. Jackson for three years, and thinks the world of him. He has a love intrest in two characters. (you guessed it) A medic and a Ghost. Also he has an English short sword, which he carriers at all time (I think it's family, but I may change that). Medic Ashley Young After Getting a degree in medine, she joined the local Char military. She doesnt support any side other than the humans. She is kind and honest, but not eager to fight. She is down to earth you could say. She shows her feelings Blake, but is never fully committed in telling about her emotions for him. This character may die, in the final fight. Gunnery Jacob Thul Raised in the worst environment possible, Jacob joined the gangs around him and became an illegal trader. The Confederate arrested him, and put a chip in his head. On Char, some incidence broke that chip and made him 'different', but not in a good way. He still takes orders mindlessly but he has a personality now. He's cold, mean spirited, and self-aware. I'm not sure how this character will work, may scrape him. Ghost Julie Archer A ghost who appears at the most convient time. She never joined the group, but always seems to be near by. She is under Emperor Menkas. She has a PSI of 7 and knows her weapons. Im thinking of making her rouge but I may not to get the feeling she's working with someone. So this is where I need help. I need about 20ish more characters and events that all starcraft fans know. I know I'll have them meet up with characters such as Raynor, Menkas, Nova, Micheal Liberty, Durran, the Zerg, the Protoss, and perhaps Kerrigan... But what else do I need?
