I just found a World War 1 game where you take control of a country and create an empire in World War 1 Europe, it's a real time browser game. The game is not that expansive when it comes to politics, as you need to rely on other players responding. But it is a neat little game. It is also very balanced and not that hectic, until everyone starts something. I was put into the game as Grand Duke of Lithuania, and I changed that to Premier, and added a Lithuanian SSR flag to replace my current one, pretty cool. http://www.supremacy1914.com

Yeah, I've abandoned my first game, Ukraine was a douche and attacked me when I tried to make a Lithuanian-Ukrainian SSR thing... Now I'm playing as Germany and France had an Army Group near me, and I created the Maginot Line on my side of the border, heh. Eventually Spain attacked him and we started to rip apart his country, I destroyed his capital. This game is awesome.

I've played this game for about a year or two, it's very fun. Roleplay Games are the best of Supremacy 1914, imo.
Good game I am the Governor of South US and using a blitzkrieg strategy on all of North America(well all of it in the game) to unite it under one banner.
I think that would be a pretty cool idea. I just started a 4th game as the central US and like MrUnclepeanuts plan on uniting North US and South US under one banner.
Just found a nice way to take over North America, since there are five seperate nations for the 31 player map in North America, being Greenland would give you much opportunity to ally with others and mass forces for an invasion to North Canada, and work your way down as eventually Central-North U.S will fight eachother, and Canada would want to have a piece of that. All, or at least most attention would be diverted towards fighting on the East coast of the United States, and it will last a very long time. Timing is absolutely important if you are to be playing as Greenland.
Personally, my favorite Map is the Newer Asian one, has anyone tried that? i love playing as Siam and creating the Great Thai Empire and dominating all of my enemies MUAHAHAHHAAHHAHA!
Yes, there's also a new Africa map being developed. (or is already out) Not sure though, might be fun, for some nations, as long as I don't get squished worse than I do playing Germany on the regular 1914 map.
well, BattalionofRed, it seems you came in at the Apex of Supremacy 1914, for the days before free country selection were...dark.....you had to pay to play as a country of your choice!
Indeed I did, I had only discovered this game a week or so ago, and have been addicted to it ever since. It's like my Victoria II. 'Cause, you know, I can't play Vikky 2.
lol have you tried a Roleplay match yet? imo, they are the best part of the game, especially when you have a dedicated group who knows how to RP properly.
I was trying to play today but my games aren't loading. I was wondering if anyone else is having this problem or is it just me?
Sometimes the servers are screwed up and stop working for a few minutes, I was playing on and off all day, usually 6:00 PM Standard Eastern is when it happens, but it can happen at any time.
