[yt:3til1oi8]eQ8duKs2Plw[/yt:3til1oi8] Good news for people who like free stuff (i.e. everyone) but I personally don't like it, I feel cheated. I bought the game a few months back and I had a personal connection with it ;_; Also, meet the medic is out and it's quite awesome: [yt:3til1oi8]36lSzUMBJnc[/yt:3til1oi8]
Raygun, you must be god. You somehow produced the actual Meet the Medic trailer that I had searched for only a week ago.
I too feel a little cheated at this since I bought this game earlier this year, and now I feel ripped off.
I guess I'll finally get it. You guys realize its gonna be filled with extra content you have to pay for, right? People will have huge advantages depending on how much money they spend. This game is gonna fall into an early grave. I'll enjoy it for a short time before that happens.
Not really, the game has been filled with extra content for a long time and they've introduced the Mann Co. store last year where you can buy hats and other items, you don't really get any unfair advantage from it and most items can be acquired by simply playing the game or crafting and trading with other people (everything you buy with real money is not tradable or craftable which makes it even more fair). I figure they make more money from that than selling the actual game. It's a wise marketing decision if you think about it. I'm more concerned about all the noobs flooding the game and all the haxxorz who can now just make a new steam account and cheat with no consequences.
More stuff to rub in the Xbox nerd's face, mine is free, yours is not, mine has hats and alternate weapons, yours does not! At least with the noob rush, we have plenty of fresh meat to devour. I think after a few quick steamrolls on Hoodoo, they'll learn their place.
I guess I'll be one of those noobs. Although, I have been known to play games on occasion, so its not like its going to be difficult. Its a effing FPS. Sorry to kill your elitist vibe.
We get a hat, "The Proof of Purchase" and it's a brodie (which is kinda neat): [yt:1ifkdyu5]ewYpSKnO9xw[/yt:1ifkdyu5] Also, apparently free players only get the following: Backpack: 50 slots Items: Standard Crafting: Limited blueprints Trading: Receive items only Gifting: Can receive gifts And I think they can unlock all the features by buying something from the Mann Co. store. Giving this whole free to play thing a second thought, I think it's fair enough. I'm appeased.
still sad that the engie was the only class that didnt get anything. He doesnt even have a set yet and the solider already has 3!
