    That is not you're concern...
Simple, the top 3 nations that shaped our world today the most:

    for me..

    1. Rome - spread western civilization like a disease
    2. Arabian caliphates, all of them - literally connected the world (at least the known world). Established trade from Indochina to China to Persia to the Empire's themselves and back to Europe. Also created wonders of scientific research for the time and expansion of literacy.
    3. British Empire - Spread western civilization even more, as well as the English language. A greatly industrialized country, although I find them to belligerent.

    1. Greek city states - The very hearth of western civilization & democracy
    2. Spain - Found the new world, gave them Spanish language, ways and Christianity
    3. British Empire - The number one colonial and industrial power of its age

EDIT: If we would be like 200 or so years in the future, I'd replace British Empire with Finland.

    1. (Soviet Union mainly because it was the first real Marxist experiment put into practice and it certainly became a hub for workers paradise and it was a dream come true for people that wanted to see an alternative to Capitalism. It's also a legacy for future Socialist states to come)

    2. (The British Empire for being a colonial and industrial power house and becoming the first global hegemony.

    3. (Prussia well known for being a militaristic power house and also known for having arrange of different philosophers on Politics, Economics, social, military, etc

This three are also my favorite countries or empires of all time.

1.Roman Empire - simply because it helped to spread out philosophy and civilization througout the world.
2.Brittish Empire - just look at the most common language today and you should know what I mean.
3.France - mostly because of their philosophers, architecture and their Revolution.

    1. Rome and Greece.
    2. China.
    3. Britain.

I don't think its right to say both Greece and Rome because I consider Roman culture the same as Greek culture.

I guess but I still don't agree all that much. By the way, you can just hit reply to quote something (the reply button right by the signature and like button).

1.Greeks(every Western civilization even the Romans got their idealogies from the Greek Empire one way or another)

2.Roman Empire(The Romans were of Etruscan descent which is Greek so technically the Greeks and Romans were the same.)

3.Nazi Germany(Evil bastards, but they did have an effect on the world regardless)
