Versus Section

As this forums is partly a games forum, I believe that a versus section is in order.
A versus section's purpose is to allow for members to post matches of various fiction/nonfiction groups to fight one another and hypothosize [based on member-provided information] a victor.
I am aware that there was a thread on the GE v. IOM in the Off-Topic section, however, I believe that a seperate section is in order due to the vast potencial of such a section.

I voted, sure why not.

I mean it's not like this would have negative side effects, but I don't see it being used too terribly much.

It wouldn't harm anything, it just wouldn't add much either.

Tell that to the GE v. IOM thread. If I am not mistaken [I'm not], you yourself posted quite a bit there.

I kind of said why I think that is a bad idea.
I know that this kind of thing has alot of potencial and I don't want to clog up the Off Topic with it.

I don't think this idea warrants its own section. If the idea takes off and there are vast numbers of these topics with a good level of use my members then I think would be the time to reconsider.

Things should be done like the Modding Section was made. A group of people started making mods and eventually requested their own section. Because there was already a decent following it had somewhere to go and is now a decent section.

However, things like the Mano-a-mano ideas did not start off with a group of people. So it rushed out and floundered and now jokes are made about how inactive it is.

It's by no means a bad idea, but I would suggest taking it to Off-topic before and when it starts growing, THEN, suggest a separate section.

Wait aren't we all NKVD in a way, so shouldn't we support them over the SS.
