    Ive been listening to viva la vida a lot lately, and was wondering what the song was about. I found this interesting yet very logical meaning of the song that it is about Napoleon in the days before he dies. Check out the link.

    Other people seem to think that it is about Jesus Christ, but this makes much more sense to me

    It's always seemed like a song about the life and fate of some great dictator to me. The Jesus interpretation doesn't make as much sense to me.

    Yeah, the life and death of Napoleon. Also, another reason that shoots down the jesus theory is tht the picture of the song is a french revolution painting, which im sure has nothing to do with jesus. Also the Jess theory did not make much sense to me either
