Web on Strike, JVS joining?

    In protest to PIPA and SOPA, some of the biggest sites on the internet will strike on January 18th. Should we join too? I think almost everyone on the forums agree these acts are bad, and pretty ridiculous. I say we should join, and sign the petition here. Joining means the site will not be usable on January 18th (all 24 hours) and instead we put this as the homepage. Of course, the god emperor JosefVStalin himself should be the one deciding this, but I would like this plan to be taken to the mod's corner.

    I agree fully with FeyBart's plan and say we need to join this strike.

    PIPA and SOPA must be impeded and we cannot stand by as spectators to this event.

    Well, Google, Facebook and Amazon are likely going to join. So that'll push icanhascheezburger off the list. And it's about the initiative. Showing you and many others disagree with the plans.

    With SOPA, or the plan to go black? It's only one day, and it's on a Wednesday, so that shouldn't cost the site o-so-many visitors...

    I am in. Anyone who uses the internet a lot or enjoys LPs should do what they can, to prevent the US government from censoring sites. This could certainly affect more than just the US.

    The forum has little to do with the SOPA Bill. How about pause the main website and keep the forum running? Plus, we have shit like Diplomacy games going on here, shutting down like that is painful.
