Would it change anything? and would the changes be Good or bad, and yes I realize the probability of this happening is very low due to the fact that Americans seem to believe Socialism is the worst thing on earth, yet other nations that have socialism are in a better economic state then us, so I would beg to differ.

What kind of Socialism? You can't just say generic socialism, there's so many individual policies and laws that define a government, and the line between different government types is often blurry.

Social democracy is simply providing a humane environment for social progress to develop in. They do this with social safety net to reduce poverty and business regulation to provide a more equal playing field.
There is no workers state, syndication of workers cooperatives, vanguard/workers party, or any of the other qualities that the various types of socialism hold.

No, it still uses capitalism as it's economic model. It has no desire to eliminate capitalism, simply to humanize capitalism.

    Dramatic.
Short of that, the whole world economy would collapse overnight.

Socialism is workers control, not higher pay or free healthcare.

No thats communism. (Insert epic lol here)

In Communism workers control the means of production, in Socialism resources are shared.

Socialism (play /?so??????zm?/) is an economic system in which the means of production are publicly or commonly owned and controlled cooperatively, or a political philosophy advocating such a system.
