I know it will be a long time before we start to get noticed, but with stalin supporting the channel and sending over viewers, we can start growing quickly at some point. If we get lucky and get a lot of views on a game, our viewer base will grow. What will we do if we get a partnership. Will we split the money or will the money go to someone who needs it. Let's say a member needs a new computer to play games with better graphics; the money can go to him to help him get it and it will benefit the channel overall.
A youtube partnership would be pretty cool. And splitting the money would mean nobody gets really anything, so we could like have people write something explaining why they should recieve the money for, lets say that month, and then we could hold a vote on it.
"True" partnership would not happen for a LOOOOONG time. We would need to have thousands of subscribers (if not tens of thousands), and get a LOT of views per day. Signing up for monetization now would be pointless, as there is no way in hell YouTube will approve monetizing video-game related videos for a channel this small.
Well, if we can get enough subs and views, maybe in a year we could get a partnership with some smaller company like machinima. (machinima itself is virtually out of the question). I think if we ever do get a partnership, the money should go to stalin.
Funny thing, we talked about this before we even created the channel (Gabe and I, that is). What we'll do whenever we start making money is simple: We'll try and arrange it so that we can have a new bank account, and the money made will be used on software or games for the major contributors (as long as it's for the channel). We don't want people to spend any money on the channel, neither do we want them to make any money out of it.
You can sign up for it, but none of the videos will be approved for monitization right now, as the channel is just simply too small.
I think YouTube/Google will message you themselves if you get big enough, and get on their radar, so there's no need to worry about it.
Haha, I guess. We should arrange something in the near future, then. But we'll have to think about it some more first.
Oh, Jesus, how much fail. I just checked the e-mail address for the NKVD Channel, and guess what? They invited us for monetizing!
