Socialism isnt defined by a country. The most practical actual real socialism is probably mutualism.

Oh look all terrible dictatorships (granted titos yugoslavia migh not be as bad as the rest) to choose from. Shouldn't that be a hint? Also is it even possible to be socialist and a dictatorship at the same time?

Also i voted yugoslavia because they where way more pragmatic about certain issues.

I choosed Yugoslavia, because well you were not you know free to talk about country and stuff, but you know what happened in the world, you could listen to any band you wanted (well almost any) and you didn't miss anything and you were more sure about your job.

Well I personnaly weren't born in Yugoslavia ( a wee bit too young) but I've read and looked up stuff on internet about it and listened to people when they were talking about it. So I think it wasn't that bad back then.

Must be, or none of the above would have existed.
Personally, I don't think the poll is such a great idea - there are too many forms of socialism to count, even if some are more significant than others
Edit: By the way, I picked 'Soviet Socialism' - which might not neccessarily mean the former Soviet Union (I assume we all know what a soviet is here, right? )

Libyan Socialism because you can fund it with oil. It still sucks though, just not as much as the USSR or North Korea.

And no, I'm not counting Yugoslavia in my decision making because I don't want to get harassed by Tito every time I say its name.

Yugoslavia was clearly the best out of all of them.

It would be so incredibly hard to compare, especially since Libya is only able to do it on oil, that I don't really want to pin the two against each other.

Rather, I would say none of them were very good and I'm glad we're not under any form of Socialism.

Not really. It was average. Tito actually knew shit, so he didn't fail horribly. That's all you really need to run a nation, no matter what system you use.

Tito did pretty well, considering that before ww2, Yugoslavia was a nation full of farmer peasants and average amount of resources, and after he died the country was modernized, industrialized, and high-rise office towers could be seen in the major cities. All this using socialism while being buddies with USA and flipping off Stalin. Admittedly though, it was more mixed economy, and private enterprise was still allowed to exist.
