I personally support the UK's Green Party and I'm probably going to become a member in the near future. This isn't because I'm a hippy environmentalist. It's because I support practically everything in the manifesto - particularly its foreign policy. And let's face it guys and girls, global warming means we kind of have to sit up and take notice of the environment.

Communist party of Australia/Socialist party of Australia. That being said, nether of them are very big, and since I'm turning 18 this year, I'm gonna be forced by law to vote. So, I'm probably gonna vote Labor. Despite them being a bunch of lying, conservative traitors, they are unfortunately the lesser evil.

The NDP I agree with almost everything they do and stand for and hope to be part of the party and run as an NDP candidate in my riding when I am old enough.

From my limited understanding of them, the NDP sound pretty cool. I'm not sure if I would argue them as socialists, but they do seem genuine.

They are Social Democrats and they were formed out of the Canadian Labour Congress so most of the members are some how related to unions.

I like the Communist Party of Great Britain (Marxist-Leninist) however though their not apart of the parliamentarian system, sort of like a outside party which follows the revolutionary roots hence the last part Marxist-Leninist.

I do like the Respect party a lot. It's a Eco-socialist party, but some of the policies they have are just great in my opinion. Currently now If I remember they have four local governments throughout the country at the moment, but it has been sometime I last checked their website.

Ideologically we should be friends we only promote private small businesses and larger ones need to be heavily regulated.

Deleted my post, sorry. Under my ideal socialist system, there would be a classical-based social democratic party, for fairness. That being said, a lot of communists argue that Social democracy, or third way politics act only as a distraction for the working class, and as a band-aid. Although I agree with that, I can't help but feel that if we make everybody an enemy, it will be harder to achieve anything as an ideology. I haven't really come to a conclusive opinion on the matter.

I don´t support any party, in my country (Portugal), since there is no party that represents the ideology of economic liberalism and of social liberalism.

But I have great respect for the Libertarian Party of the USA and the Democrats 66 of the Netherlands.

I'm unaffiliated with a political party but obviously have a strong Democratic bias.

Why the hell not, he's better than any politician that's alive in the US.
Okay, to stay with the question I try not to vote just based on political party, but I lean towards the Democratic party.

I lean towards the Democrats, but there are a few (and I really mean only like 3) republicans that I support and they are Chris Christie and John Runyan of New Jersey, and John Hunstman.

Doesn't that suck for you, Crocve. I heard the socialist party there is doing pretty well for now, although wasn't there a recent election back last year were the Conservatives won the election. I was talking to someone in the bar there and he despised the conservative government.

I am a strong supporter of The Republican Party of the United States. I support them because I love what they preach(most of the time). The Party was started to rid slavery in the US. It supports state's rights and won't let Washington dictate. Socially they get a little mixed. I support there Christian values and only disagree on the issue of Homosexuality. I back the 2nd Amendment they back the 2nd Amendment. Its also the party of one of my current favorite politicians TX Governor Rick Perry(don't shoot!). I also love their activism. Their willingness to go out and rally people for their cause. Plus they don't want a lot of taxes, which I support. This is the I back the GOP and will continue to do so, except when they give me candidates like Mitt Romney, Newt Gingrich, Rick Santorum, and Ron Paul :)

By select few, do you mean every Republican candidate who is running except Paul?
