What's your favorite flag?

    Maybe this isn't so much of a historical events discussion, but since flags are the visible symbols of regimes, nation stations, sub-national regions and peoples throughout history, do we have our favorites?

    One of my favorites is the Yaroslavl Oblast flag. This kind of flag is roughly equivalent to a U.S. state flag or Canadian provincial flag, since Yaroslavl Oblast is one of Russia's federal subjects (basically one of its "states"). I just like the fact that its a bear carrying a hardcore axe :p

    One of the most awesome of all, the flag of the former Benin Empire. It's too bad that this flag is disputed as being legitimate or not, but awesome nonetheless :p

    I find the Californian flag funny because they are following the 'Lone Star Republic', but Califorians are almost on the opposite side of the political spectrum...
