Argh. People like Rick Perry and John McCain have made me ashamed to be a Conservative. But Ron Paul. Ron Paul is just so followable. He makes so much sense to me. And i don't know why.

So my question to you is, why do i think this? And what do you think about Ron Paul.

Huge following on the Internets, in the elections he will not win (Though he is sadly the best the GOP have to offer)

His ideals are that of or similar to some of us, but I'm not a U.S citizen, so I don't care for U.S politics other than for mocking.

Ron Paul is a smart guy apart from the creationism. He always seems to give intelligent responses. It's sad to see that most of his supporters are just tagging along for the pot. If only he wasn't tied down by religion, maybe he could emulate our Conservatives who aren't restricted from it.

Because he is consistent. He appeals by taking the most consistent tool in politics (constitution) and repeats it over and over again. In extremely uncertain times people like consitency.
Also wasn't ron paul the guy who doesn't believe in seperation in church and state? But to be honest i don't really care for the gop race, no candidate of which i heard from is going to beat obama in the race for the voters in the middle. most middle voters are moderate and this word is just not an assertion i would make with the republican party. And Obama has moderate written all over his face. But on the otherhand i don't have a good enough view into the average american to even start grasping what they are thinking about who they will vote for.

RP often abstains from voting because he wants to distance himself from mainstream Republicans while not giving support to the Dems. His ideological position is probably one of the most consistent in Congress, though.

While i agree with him being consistent (almost too much consistent by mainstreme republican standard) the question i have is, In your Opinion would he make a good president and what of his son?

Agreed, Though while I respect his consistenty in the debates and he is as of now the best the GOP has to offer, he would not make a good president an example of this would be his willing of wanting to repeal the 17th amendment of the united states constitution, not to mention his horrid views on civil liberties and domestic offers.

On a side note: If you had a choose to vote for anyone for president (Be it Republican party/democrat/ or unimportant 3rd party with no chance to win) who would you vote for and why? and what is your thoughts on Dennis Kucinich?

I stand by Obama. While I don't agree with his policies 100%, I think he's exactly what a modern president should be. As well, what I expected from Obama is far overshadowed by what we've actually got from him.

To be honest I was kinda disappointed by Obama, While i go with he is the best choice for president (Currently running) he hasn't lived up to my expectations. Sadly my ability to vote will not be up in 2012 and thus i have no real opinion on if he should be president or not, and going with the trend of the last elections more then likely a republican will win 2016; though who knows. Though to be honest who wants to vote in the 2012 election; its clear to us even now who will win.

Why do I agree with you on so many issues; like i fell as though i should have an obligation to disagree but yet from a perspective of any sort of argument and knowledge of what hes saying i go with your side (Though no all the time)
