I have a right to know what's going on in my forum government. What, do you believe that you deserve it and, say, Yuri doesn't?
If I can't see anything going on, and can't hear anything going on, then yes, I will assume that nothing is going on. Who would think otherwise?
You'll find yourself with difficulty being re-elected if you blow off your voters.

Can we please establish that this is a forum not a government. How many forums do you go on where the mods tell you what is going on behind the scenes?

I call it a forum government as a compromise.
And how many forums is there a free exchange of ideas? Most moderators are draconian assholes. No one likes them, no one knows who they are.

But it would be like saying the Athenian democracy can afford to skip elections once are twice because, "how many other city states even have elections?"

Well, it's not a government, and if it were, you guys elected me as the Minister, so to speak. And with that, all the rules that will be passed will be announced. Simple as that.

If you can't see anything going on, you should take glasses. But seriously, though. You shouldn't just assume. This discussion is ridiculous.

I don't blow off my voters, it was all in my campaign thread. Your fault for not reading it.

i for one support this. especially rules for behaviour, people have a freedom to express themselves without being insulted to the point where they don't want to be on the forums anymore.

On clearing up the forums, I would just like to point some key points.

    - threads and sections (such as the Russian section) do not harm people in the location they are in. Nor do other members from those sections seem to 'disrespect' anyone. There's no need to hide them even more.

-Political and Historical forums seem to get many people involved, however people judge others on their posts in those sections and then ruin their other posts outside that forum area... Countless times I see the 'better form of government' argument in off-topic, gaming and forum games...

-Certain areas are dying quicker than they get their feet off, leaving a lot of 1 post threads hiding other major threads. Perhaps after a month they can be deleted?

-Can we tie similar threads into one super thread? I mean take the MUN games for example; can we create a folder with them under them? Maybe topics with the same title but with a number or different adjectives can be combined.

-An option for alphabetical order would help me in many cases... Helps find something I might actually want to read about. (I could just stroll under Z to find something about zombies, zoos, and Z punctuation... Without searching all 3 separately.
