So recently, a series of really big updates came out for skyrim online. It added full clothing, character, animation, time and weather synchronization to the game, and within the coming days, full mob/item synchronization will be coming in, and hopefully in a few weeks-months, they will be adding in the Tyrantis mod, which will add stuff like the ability to make buildings, farming, etc. Anyway, although the server is technically open to the public, the game is still a little off being completely playable. That being said, some of the bigger groups of players are already laying claim to the various holds/cities on the server, and I was wondering if we should get in on the action. Currently, the only hold open for claiming is dawnstar, and we'll need a sizable group (About 10 people) before we can make any legitimate claim on it. There will only be one server, so if we do want to have a good head start, we will have to do so now. So, I was wondering if any of you would - 1. Be willing to sign up on the skyrim online forums 2. Be willing to actively play the game as part of an NKVD-Led faction when a more complete version of the Skyrim online mod comes out. I guess we will use this thread to count sign ups, and discuss ideas for our possible guild/faction/kingdom type thing here. Here is the Skyrim online website, for those interested -http://skyrim-online.com/ (Please note that the front page of the website is extremely outdated - There have been major updates since then)
Sounds interesting, I've already played through most of the larger quests (I only need the Companions (but I'm a mage, so I'll probably do them in another game) and Dark Brotherhood), and this would be great for new content.
I'm pretty sure you can still run it. It's not an official bethesda thing, entirely a fan made mod. @ Chives - Essentially, yes.
So, I've staked a claim on the whiteshore region (Which you can see in this map ---> Thus far, I've had 5 people express interest in the idea. If we want any legitimacy behind our claims, we are going to need more - So please, tell your friends, both in and outside of the community about this -We need more people!
I could sign up and pretend I have the game, but note: I don't have it, I can't pirate it, and I won't buy it, as my computer can't run it.
I'm not entirely behind this idea. While I cannot stop anyone from organizing this, I'm doubtful about making it part of the clan. The clan requires that it's games have some sort of inherent competition to them, while Skyrim Online may have unofficial factions in it, there is nothing inherently competitive about the game.
Skyrim online will be heavily modded, and very RP-Oriented. There will be built-in faction dynamics, town ownership, pvp/war dynamics, and etc. It's not and just a co op thing. Well, we also need to figure out what race we are going to be, and our style of playing. Personally, I'd like to either go with Nord, or maybe dark-elf.
