I believe "Lappish" culture is Lappland. Maybe this isn't true of the US, but Lappland is considered one of the many different places where Santa lives. At least that's one of the things we tell kids in the UK.

On athoter note i always kept one duchy as a sort of royal demianse for the kings line

You know when i played the origional ck for some reason i alwas handed out vassel titles by duchy. eg: i become a king and grant ranodm vasle the terriorys of the duchy of say normandy as a count then make him a duke. It was actually very efficient
