        He doesn't complain though. He basically goes around saying shit's gonna be tough and then moves on. He isn't crippled like many people if their home was destroyed. He still moves forward just not with idealism shining out his ass.

I honestly don't see him as being that bad, yes he is a snide cynical asshole who is absorbed in self pity but he did have to kill his comrades and everything he knows is dead.
