Well, we didn't do to half bad at the battle of the Yser... but apart from that yea...

Retreating Yugoslav tank and a KFOR tank standing guard.

Might want to edit names cause the pictures might show what they are about. (for instance, I just had to google 'T-55 M1A2' and I found what it was about)

    Battle of Gaugamela.

Describing how he pulled his cavalry off of the battlefield and luring the Persian cavalry with it.
And as soon as the gab between the main Persian army and the cavalry was big enough he then charged in and held the Persian cavalry in check with Light infantry he had hid in between his horses.
The final decisive moment of the battle.

    I've got one.

    Yes it is gaugamela

They look like Char St. Charmond heavy tanks. The second heavy tanks used by the french during world war 1. but im not that familiar with that area.

if its true the next riddle again a famous battle and not that hard.

Lets up the game a bit, seeing that i am currently suffering from studying for my paleography exam I am gonna let you suffer with me.

Whoever transcribes the first line of the linked 16th century more or less correctly wins. This is quite an easy text so you shouldnt have too much problems.

    http://www.nationalarchives.gov.uk/palaeography/doc14/about.htm

ps: there is a zoom button which you will need to use, also please dont just copy the first line from the given transcript that would just ruin my fun.
