When my father was visiting Germany once, someone said to him that Hungarian and Finnish languages sound the same. *looks at the Hungarian text* I mean really?!

Btw I can understand that it's something about Hungary (magyar) or something.

Magyar and Suomi are related to eachother, just like German and Dutch are.

Well hungarians are really don't know where they are from. Some say we're related to babylonians or scythinas becouse of the simularities of the language and culture
Some parts of our language is kind of like finnish, estonian some parts are like turkish, and ainchent hunnic. It's kind of like a mish-mash of the two language families. There is also the mongolianpillaging to the carpathians theory which is regarded as pleasable but there are a lot of theories regarding the issue.

Well, I don't know about the people themselves, just that Finnish and Hungarian are related in some way.

Tolkien about his discovery of Finnish: "It was like discovering a complete wine-cellar filled with bottles of an amazing wine of a kind and flavour never tasted before. It quite intoxicated me."

Wherever Finnish and Hungarian may have their origins... They are both one of the few language spoken in Europe that are not Indo-European...

Edit: Finnish and Hungarian texts may look similar... And although Dutch and German may sound quite similar to non-native ears... Well, Dutch and German, words, texts do certainly not look similar... As explained by this fellow here named professor Alexander Arguelles...

Yes Magyar and Suomi are related (they both are part of the Fenno-Ugric language group) but they are not as closely related as German and Dutch and I'd say that Hungarian doesn't really sound like Finnish.

Thank you for that video, it did actually sound like Finnish but with no Finnish words.
Btw Finnish are a lot like elves except being druker and are as ugly as the elves are beautiful (nooot:p).

A beatiful but kinda sad song, tells a lot about the Finnish people.
