Thank you. Religion didn't play a Major role in the life of an Aztecan, there were carnivals, books, church, Sporting events(Early Futbol I may add) and there were painters carpenters, artisans, and noblemen, although The military was a main function and public executions were common.

Yeah. Alot of European technology originated in China. Even up to the Renaissance Era, Chinese ship design still had clear influence on those of the Europeans.

Yes. They traded along the series of paths commonly called the Silk Road by the Romans. The Chinese mainly traded silk [hence the namesake] for Roman glass. Centuries later, monks would bring silk worms out of China, which would end some of the Chinese monopoly on the silk industry.

That would be a tough one to do. Firstly, the Romans would just have to CONVINCE the Chinese to do it. As imperialistic as China is portrayed these days, in the grand scheme of things, the Chinese are not big conquerors. Its part of their 'Middle Kingdom' mentality. Even when they had what is sometimes called the 'Chinese Commonwealth' which included Korea and Vietnam, it was more of a symbolic tribute system than an empire. Though they have destroyed some empires, they usually never stuck around.
Once an allience is established, there is the [reletively] bigger problem of simple supply lines. moving across vast distances in those days was difficult enough without the Himalayas blocking your path.
But provided China reached the battlefields intact, I see no reason why they would not win.

Hmm... never heard of the Andes one, but I have heard about the Chinese junks being found along the Californian shoreline.
Irrelivent in the long run though. Like I said, Chinese usually don't go out to colonize or conquer. I am pretty sure that the Chinese just figured out how strange the lands were compared to life back in China and turned back and went home. No point to sticking around.

About 30 years before the spanish came there was peace in mexico a Golden age if you will, new technologies were invented, and culture flourished Executions were no longer taking place as warriors did not fight the empire was rich. the shamans predicted that a great calamity would befall the empire, the war god was not getting his sacrifice and would eventually strike the empire with horrors, and the rest is history.

That's just estimates, mind you the Spanish destroyed anything they could about the Aztecs and made them out as horrible cannibalistic ritual monsters when really its was just culture and a little bit of jealousy.

Actually, the Mayans were much more advanced than the Aztecs, they Mayans were simply the most baddass of their time, which was some 400 years before the Aztecs I'd bet they were much more advanced than most of Europe at that time, they had a sewer system, astrology and all that jazz, I think they'd lose only to the chinese or the byzantines or the arabs in technology, seeing as nobody in America knew how to melt Iron to make weapons.

Those stupid Spanish had to burn all the Mayan stuff. :mad:Maybe if they did not burn it all, we would know more about the Mayan calendar.

In only a few field of science were they more advanced. However, if they were more advanced than the Europeans, they easily would've kicked their asses back to their ships. The Greeks and Romans had very advanced sewer systems, and even invented flushing toilets. As for the most advanced nations, I think it went from Egypt -> Rome -> Muslim World -> Europe, with China being very advanced up until the rise of European colonialism.

Yeah, at their peak, that would be the 10th century, I'd say they would really lose only to the Byzantines, Muslims and chinese, specially for the fact that at this time Europe was in the peak of the Dark Ages as well and their customs were at least disgusting for modern views (like literally throwing shit on the streets).
