Ancient Aliens isn't necessarily about aliens visiting the ancient world, but aliens intervening in human affairs through the ages. There was also a episode called "Aliens and the old west" about cowboys and aliens. Well, cowboys ain't ancient either.

    Edit:

I would point out the irony and write a complete post about it, but for the sake of this thread, I'll leave it this time.

Anyway, you're not completely right, the Ancient Aliens theory has some crappy "evidence", which according to its believers is quite solid. However, if you put all those pieces of "evidence" together, it makes no sense whatsoever, and there's generally a historical or logical explanation, contradiction or counterargument to them.

And there is no evidence for the existence of God either.

Except for miracles, Jesus, anyting good in the world, etc.

EDIT: What evidence says that God isn't real?

There'e no solid evidence that miracles are real bro.
Jesus existing does not mean a God exists
Do I even have to bother replying to this one?

Oh so a blind man magically can see again and you say that isn't a miracle and Jesus is God.

What the fuck are you talking about?
Can you give me any evidence that miracles exist?

edit: and even if they did that would not prove God existed.

Actually, there have been stories of people sneezing which cured their blindness. Still, the blindness you pointed out is described in the Bible, which only has itself for evidence.

What evidence says that invisible unicorns aren't real?

Hey if somebody could be a good sport and inform me about roman legion scouts

Their gear, how many were they etc

Also you can't prove god exist.

Didn't they use lightly armoured cavalry and skirmishers for that? Kind of like the equites and velites in Rome: Total War, I think.

Well according to wikipedia there was units called Speculators but the wikipedia article is so empty. That's why I would like if somebody would inform me more about them.

True, searching on Google didn't make me a lot wiser either. The term generally refers to scouts, and later on executioners. The only mentions of equipment are horses (in the cavalry scout divisions) and regular clothing (which would lead you to think they were spies).

Yeah, God impregnated a virgin (even though he's shown he could've made a man with some dirt, but let's forget about that) with himself so he could be his own son and die to save humanity from himself, but resurrected himself three days later. Or at least, I think it went like that.
