Yes, not some bloody drug cartel for crying out loud. Anonymous should just focus on the biggest threat, instead of some drug lords in Mexico.

Ninja, why did this one Anonymous dude get kidnapped by the Zetas? What did he do to piss off the Zetas?

The cartel is all over man, and it wouldn't have to be actual anon members, just people who wear symbols loosely associated with the group. They kill people in Tuscon and Phoenix all the time for little to no reason

My point was that anonymous can't be traced back by the cartels, so anyone with a brain can avoid retribution; random indiscriminate violence might do some harm though.

I'm inclined to believe they either have people half decent with computers, the top guys were all ex special forces. Even if they don't they have more then enough money to figure it out. The random violence would be something I'd be more worried about though

The Chinese, American, and British governments (among others) only have a marginal success rate at catching these anonymous folks. I highly doubt that cartels, no matter their relative power, have the capacity to do better.

So in other words, random indiscriminate violence wins again.

Gee, wouldn't WikiLeaks be great for something like this? If they have this info, why don't they just reveal it?

Don't get me wrong, Anonymous can do some slick shit, but they're in way over their head. Sorry boys, gun beats keyboard any day, and their hero antics are only going to get people killed.
