So, what's the most willing and desperate games you guys want to get in this wonderful anticipating year of gaming? Note: Put your wanted games in order like mine below. Obviously first game at the top is your most wanting game, and the last one, were you want it, but not as much as the ones above it, and right now i can't remember every single game i want from this year, but overtime, i will start to remember and i'll post more anticipating games on my list below. 1. Shogun 2 Total War. I am absolutely dying for this game, I need it so bad. xD 2. Mass Effect 3. 3. Elder Scrolls V Skyrim. 4. Dragon Age 2.(this and Skyrim are actually kinda tied for me) That's it. xD *edit* I just played the Dragon Age 2 demo and this has shot it up to being tied with ME2 at number 2. The demo was just freakin' amazing. I love the new combat system, so fun. It just felt epic, but can Bioware make anything that isn't?

Homefront is gonna suck, guys, and Pokemon is the same repetitive bullshit over and over. It sucks. They need to make a new game, not the same damn one over and over with a couple dozen new pokemon every time.What pokemon releases as a new game, everyone else releases as DLC. One idea I thought would be cool was a Pokemon game in the style of Fallout.
A post-apocalyptic Pokemon game? Oh I'd be in for that... No, but seriously, I get your point of view with Pokemon being repetitive, but to me, it's still fun. Nintendo is trying to add new elements every new generation, although they must be running out of ideas right now, so they'll probably release a third game to accompany Black/White (Grey, right?), and then make a ton of spin-offs again, then, they'll probably start remaking the Advanced games and the whole thing starts over again.
Repetitive and un-original as it may be, it is really hard to hate pokemon, I always find myself having a good time. IMO, you aren't a real gamer 'till you beat the league at least once, it's a universal gaming milestone. That said, probably going to pick up a copy for old time's sake and to keep the team on the cutting edge, and a copy of the updated ruby/sapphire games to re-live the good 'ol days (one of my first real games). As for what I expect from the next pokemon games, I want no new pokemon, they always feel awkward to a returning player, I would rather focus on better villians, a better map, better characters, and overall a better story.
Oh I agree, although I think several of the new Pokes look pretty cool, and some have some really nice concepts (the season deer, for instance). I'd actually like them to return to the "darker" first and second generation story. I mean, from R/S/E onward, there'd be a team who wants to destroy the world. Now, that does seem pretty dark, doesn't it? Shame they get beaten by a 10-year old kid and their plan fails miserably. I mean, in R/B/Y/G/S/C, Team Rocket was some sort of maffia organisation, which was pretty badass. And when do they learn to properly equip their grunts?
Great choice, there is no way this game is going to be anything less than epic. Watching Stalin play the demo just reinforced that for me. So yeah if you can only get one game this year that's probably the best one imo.
