No, no I'm making a point for both sides. There are way too many loopholes in the rules so we should either get rid of those or get rid of the more strict personal insult rules. Because right now there are no good guidelines for personal insults and the mods will protect who they want to protect.

I'm not going to report Toast because he was simply reacting as many other people would have. But no one bothers to report things, there needs to be more authority for the mods to decide what is an insult. Also, maybe some of us would feel better if a mod was added who had a history of opposing Ler, to ensure at least opposing viewpoints, instead of overwhelming support of the guy.

I used to like and respect Ler, but the mods are way too biased towards him, without that Bias he would not be a tribune right now.

I agree with you on the insults, I do. Pedro already brought up a suggestion regarding it in fact. However no-one is biased in official actions against Ler. In regular posting some including me are and some are biased against him like Kali. It does not affect the way we run this site.

When I was Tribune, I used to just delete spam posts in the PA and raise hell at people who fell back on petty insults as a last line of defense. Seems no other Tribune has seen fit to take up my sword.
