What, the ones who look like walking skeletons? If so then I can symphatize, they are f-ing scary to look at. His my bit of drugged friend tales: A friend of mine smoked weed(?) before coming to school one day in 7th grade, she sat on the front of her desk and thought that there was a bird flying around the room. How she didn't get caught is beyond me, I guess that our teachers back then didn't care about drugs in Middle School... they only yelled at the High Schoolers.
Marijuana is not a hallucinogen. So she was either faking it, or it being in America it was far more likely that it was spiked with something.
Some strains can be mildly hallucinogenic, but Marijuana is not a hallucinogen, trust me, I live in British Columbia. : )
That's it? lol, a ton of people in my class were expelled for selling marijuana: one of them, Will, lives down the street and we used to make fun of him because he sold it out of a can of Coke in the cafeteria. My friend Travis got caught with a knife and got expelled, and we get a breathalyzer at the prom. And I live in the good school.
Is it tough living inside a school? Do you end up raiding the cafeteria for food every night? On a serious note, they brought dogs to sniff lockers at my school, and that was top rated north shore(Chicago) school, totally over the top, but they like expelled 6 kids that day for possession I think, my friend once admitted he had liquor in his backpack in the principles office, didn't get caught... That's not even the bad stuff though, the kids who end up getting caught are like the softcore guys, all the hardcore drug users, have like stashes around the school or on their person.
So first, you live in Chicago; that's cool, I live a couple of miles outside of Philly. Second, do you go to like a private, boarding school? Because that would explain the hardcore drug use, though I think a discussion of that nature would have to go into the Gen. Philosophy section. Look, all of the schools in my area could not afford dogs, but some in Norristown (where I grew up) have metal detectors and security guards because there has been a ton of knife fights the last few years.... so yeah. Sux to have to live in a school though :-(
I did when I was younger but this was a public highschool that just had a huge budget. Very high end nice, high property taxes, my grandparents pay 30,000 a year in property tax to live there. http://hphs.dist113.org/aboutus/about_school/Pages/default.aspx
Nope, that's not it, once some people took some kind of drug (not sure which) and had an overdose. Also, one of the IT teachers was a drug dealer. His trial was earlier this year.
reading this thread so glad i live where i do. The worst drug that gets token round my area is tobacco
