No, I'm not even joking....we don't have enough funding a lot of times they just use news reports. I hope they don't use fox news....

I didn't understand the "sun" part.

I am wondering if it is a typo or something.

I'm going to take a wild guess and say that he meant "son".
    Just a theory.

They wernt really an agency but the squad with Michael Collins in charge during the war of Independance against Britain was a pretty good I mean they had a man working inside the British headquarters and supposedly Michael Collins used to ride past on a bicycle into the house next door.

Not to be offensive or anything like that, but the SS/SD/whatever the Nazi intelligence agency was.

The SS weren't really a intelligence agency as much as it was a special army group that handled "internal affairs". A massive scary police force if you will. They didn't really spy on other countries or gather information unless it was related to possible traitors inside the country. Then of course their main role was collecting and killing Jews and other racially inferior people.
Edit: Oh wait there's the SD which was a part of the SS which was in fact a intelligence agency. I forgot they existed. My bad.

The SD he was right on, as he said. And think of the SS as the NKVD of Nazi Germany. However, the NKVD later turned into an intelligence agency and we can assume if Hitler won the war we would learn about the SS Intelligence in European History Class :p

Hitler actually wanted to get rid of the Wehrmacht after the war and just have the SS take over their duties. Mostly because Hitler trusted the SS a lot more then the Wehrmacht. Both were loyal to the state but the Wehrmacht weren't made up of die hard Nazis, they were more loyal to the state of Germany then the Nazi party. Which of course was a problem for Hitler. This would make the SS basically in charge of the state, seeing as they would have basically all of the power.

The German High Command were actually plotting several times to overthrow Hitler (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/German_resistance), but lacked necessary backbone, or just lacked pure luck to succeed.

Might also be worth mentioning that SD stands for 'Sicherheitsdienst' (sorry if my spelling's off, but there aren't many words in English which are that long), which is incredibly similar to a certain Ministerium fur Staatsicherheit (ie- the Stasi). The RSHA is probably the best representative of Nazi Intelligence, as it included the SD and various police departments (not really intelligence, but it did include the Gestapo, which is so famous i'm sure some would equate it to the likes of the NVKD).
Oh, and the Wehrmacht had its own intelligence agency (the Abwehr), which I believe was quite a source for rivalry with the SD and a lot of other die-hard Nazi-types. I would even go as far as to say some of its members opposed the Nazis, but I can't remember any credible sources for that. I guess it would be fair to say they were about as Nazi as the Wehrmacht in general.
If anything, we'd get to hear about all the dubious exploits of the likes of the SOE, SAS and MI6, seeing as much of that is still restricted in our timeline (I say it as if there are other timelines lol).
