But if you use American websites...

Edit- Also on the bill, it seems to be more towards pirated movies rather then LP's, ad only if they make money from their vids.

Stalin "makes money" from his videos though. Ads and stuff.

    1. Yes it is, there are ads embedded in the videos.
    2. It wouldn't matter anyway

What about Machinima partners? That company would go straight down.

As a company machinima could probably get permission from the videogame companies. And if it gets to it I'm sure Spencer would have no problem striking a deal with Paradox.

From what I understand it would enable law enforcement to go after both the individuals and the groups, but only if they make a certain amount of money over a specified time period. However, life T virus mentioned, there are a lot of similar laws on the books in other areas, that law enforcement has been pretty lax on.

@Stalin, yes, I specifically bought New Vegas and then FO3 because of your let's play, but it would be easy for a lawyer to put forth the argument.

I don't know, there is a lot of big business lobby behind it. On the other hand, there has been a pretty big response from the gaming community. I can't watch a video on yt without seeing hundreds of comments about "ZOMG F THIS S.978 BILL!!!!". While that's not the most effective means of exercising political action, the politicians do take note. They have interns who's entire job is to conduct research on public opinion on this one issue, and they are most definitely taking notice.
