And written on authentic 18th Century parchment made from the same tree as the declaration of independence!
How would having what basically amounts to a second set of rules called a constitution alleviate the need for more mods in the future? When the site grows well still need more mods...
I hope guys realize that this is a minor change towards more community involvement. This is hardly something to get all emotional or upset about. The seas aren’t bubbling over, fireballs aren’t raining down, no first borns will need to be sacrificed etc. etc. I ask that people stop treating this, including the mods, like this is some sort of soap operate drama. I remind everyone people voted in favor of the reforms 80% to 20%. I also remind everyone that thus far almost 10% of the forum population has voted and the result is more than enough for me to label as statistically significant (+/- 2% 19 times out of 20) Meaning if I were to do this vote again it would be -/+ 2% of the current numbers 19 times out of 20. In the end Dr. House put it best, “Numbers don’t lie.” I can hardly turn my back on 80% of the user base, lest I risk alienation.
If somebody sends you a message telling you to vote for somebody and pass it on, is that a violation?
That's italics, not cursive. There is a big difference. This is good because I am pretty sure that most of the forum has promised their first born to Ronald. Oh, and you make a good point, my larges problem with all this is all the drama that's been going on. People are taking this issue way to far instead of actually focusing on the reforms. He's right, as long as it doesn't reach harassment levels.
