    Depends on the weaponry between the two parties.
    If your city is getting bombarded by long ranged weaponry, and you have nothing to fight back with, then you're gonna have a bad time

    Proper positioning is very important for battle. However, it won't win a war, if it did we would be speaking Arabic based language, and learning about how great Carthage and Hannibal was in history class. Instead of Caesar and Rome.
