Trans gamers means basiclly, X gender playing as Y gender. I imagine its harder for male's playing as chicks in a game since there are some creeps who play as giant breasted women wearing a 2 piece. For women well just because there girl gamers... really isnt as much as a turn on as it used to be since there are more than there alot more than it used to be, so we would just shrug it off... now they are saying its weird for a girl to play a game where you choose to be a man or a girl. I mean I used to play sims all the time as a girl when I was young... my mother gave me alot of strange looks but none the less... what are your ties to " Trans Gamerism?
I think that I misunderstand the question. Are you asking in terms of like a RPG in which a girl in real life plays a man? or Are you asking in terms of online where a girl poses as a guy? I don't really find either to be that... worthy of debate. Alot of people just play the both sexes in video games just on the off chance that the game developers tailored the game slightly to match the gamer's gender in-game. The text dialouge with Cassidy in FO:NV is an example of this. As for online... I don't really see any problem with it other than if they feel it necessary due to harrassment from males due to their gender. As for a guy playing a girl online... to each their own, I guess.
Yeah, I mean when Jack plays as Jenifer in a game where they have a choice ( Fable, Saints row, etc. )

I absolutely refuse to play any game as a woman as I find it highly inappropriate. If there is even an option I will take it back to the shop for a refund and buy a game where the only playable characters are men instead. In fact, I find it unacceptable watching films where the main character is a woman. I mean supporting characters can be female, fair enough, but only women should be allowed to watch films where the lead role is played by a female!

Actually I wish games gave more evinces for being a female, as in better dialog options such as the man underestimating the female and then me (playing as a female) snapping the neck and eating the spinal cord of my victim and standing in stride showing everyone the biological superiority of females. Then again if it was extra dialog options it would just be guys asking this "OMG OMG WOMAN UHH BOOBS GO OUT WITH ME" even to the point of pure annoyance, oh and if i tell them im a lesbian they go "LOL WUT DOES THAT MEAN YO HAZ SEX WITH ME" but no this little rant has nothing to do with people not understanding that a lesbian has no sexual attraction or interest in the male. Sorry for ranting a little bit there, but no sieriously I like games where I can be both male and Female, and I would love to see more development of this and how it would propley happen in real life. (Besides as a Female in games I should be able to seduce men and stap them in the throat)
