People arguing for Che: 1) the sentence has already been set. The staff and tribunes have already deliberated and Stalin approved the decision; 2) whether or not you think the hate speech violation is unfair or not doesn't matter as he would have been banned anyways for the personal insult violations; and 3) you've all seen what kinds of radical, spiteful, undeniably evil things Che has said that we don't do anything about because they are legitimate expressions of speech--the issue here was not such an expression.

I learned not to listen to Che a long fucking time ago. But entertainment wise, this is a sad day. I will now get some popcorn.

Che isn't insignificant. Again, i realize how smug you feel after you point out that he is, but on these forums, he's quite significant. Not to mention, this is about principle, not about Che.

You are attempting to rationalize completely nonsensical ideas right now. The explanation matt provided makes perfect sense (and is verifiably correct) while you can only attempt to explain away the truth.

1) Doesn't make it right or perminant? It can be changed just as anything can be altered.
2) Maybe, I don't know if that would be a full freaking month by any reasonable setence.
3) Just because they're considered un-understandable to you or everyone, or unsensible does not make them wrong and certainly not evil. They should be irrelevent.

Also, I still have doubts he was given a fair trial. The fact that the image wasn't anti-semetist seems like news to you guys.

It can be completly rationalize. In no way was Che posting said image to offend the Jews. He was doing it to offend the Israeli's which is perfectly legitament.

Certainly his later text sig was anti-semetist, not a month's worth, but it was.

It is news to us. We though it was common knowledge that a picture of a Big-Nosed Vampire Jew sucking out the blood of a young child was anti semetic, but you obviously know more.

Again their is no rule that says right to quick and speedy trail their are no judges their is no jury and if you dont like it leave its all up to our fun and loving Dictator Stalin and hes army the mods.

Irrelevent to whether or not there is a rule, but relevent to a claim that he was given justice.

How can you say someone had justice on them if their trial was a bunch of mods who dislike him telling eachother he must be banned?
