Sweden increases the size of its navy as well as give increased wages to those who farm, because farming is good.
The Levantine Kingdom navy suddenly veers towards the Spartan shores. The Spartans have the majority of there army sieging Athens, and so Levantine troops are able to begin landing procedures fairly quickly. 15,000 Levantine Infantryman begin to swarm onto the beaches, already building dirt walls around the beachhead, while ships continue to pour in troops. The Levantine navy holds a defensive arc around the beachhead, while the Tyrian navy puts it's own roughly 40,000 soldiers onto the beaches, which include the Babylonian force. The Tyrian navy joins the Levantines in there defense of the small beachhead. Troops are already beginning to get ready to march out.
My colonial group landed there a while back, and began setting up a harbour with basic living and storage quarters. Now for the important stuff. Joining the Levantine landing force are 22,000 Tyrian soldiers and 18,500 Babylonian troops (15,000 infantry, 2500 archers and 1000 heavy cavalry).
The first salt from south of Benghazi has reached the trading ships in Benghazi's port. Salt at this time was incredibly rare. Dalmatia wonders what nation has the wealth to afford such a luxurious and status-giving product. We can only spare a little at this time, most is sent back to the Dalmatian capital.
Markus arrives in Sardinia and address his apology of Rome's past actions, than departs and heads towards Rome for a brief check-up than departs for Greece.
The combined might of the Tyrian Warships and the Scythian Fleet make way for Athens. The Tyrian Warships act as a shield for the Scythian fleet from the Spartan and Carthaginian one. There are 33,000 Scythian soldiers held within the Scythian fleets. The combined might of the Scythian and Tyrian fleets is 95 ships. 55 Scythian ships and 40 Tyrian warships.
The Levantine troops are organized into groups of 100 each, commanded by a Centurion. This is borrowing from styles of warfare found in Etruscan and more Italian tribes. The Levantine troops organize themselves into a Double line, and begin to move slowly, towards Sparta itself. The Kingdom tells Tyre to march it's troops, as well as Babylonian troops, on the right and left flanks, respectively.
The Tyrian Warships move in to distract the Carthaginian navy while the Scythian fleet lands a few miles south of Athens, with their way to Athens blocked by Carthaginian forces. Scythia will begin its way North and the Scythian fleets will be withdrawn back to Anatolia.
Are you guys at war with us again? *sigh* You broke a peace treaty in a couple months and everyone calls me untrustworthy. Ya know all those deals I broke. Sparta sends 10,000 troops and moves the 10,000 from the siege down to attack the troops on 2 sides. SPARTA IS NOW WILLING TO HIRE MERCENARIES FROM ANYONE!
Tyre's forces and Babylonian allies will fall into rank, whilst the warships take defensive positions along with the Levantine ships.
Yes sir. We have ten thousand men for the Expeditionary Force. Might we add two thousand are Persian Immortals.
