    I agree. If Carthage declared a white peace we'd leave their settlements and people alone. Including those in Crete and their naval bases across islands.

    Technically you joined Sparta in a Mutual Protection Pact meaning if either of you are attacked you are honor bound to help the other. However Sparta started the war in aggression against Athens. In the eyes of most you are not bound by anything to stay with Sparta. But it is your call.
