    Ok, IoM continues their conquest.
And you might want to announce that every NPC not directly controlled has a standing army.

You working on that legend?

Dacia begins constrution of 50 ships.
Moscow completes 50 ships and places 25 under construction
Armenia begins construction of 50 ships.

    What was this for?

So, do we need to actively keep track of our navy and army numbers, or can we make estimations based on the equipment and number of provinces?

Well, population is usually calculated by 10,000 people per terrictory (the little segments on the map) that you control. They say that you can only raise 50% of your pop. to military at any one time, but some people just don't follow that. If you raise your military to 50%, then you can no longer expand until the military pop. is no longer 50% of your total population.

As for technology: Ask around. You can get technology from others or try to come up with it on your own.
You should probably announce when you research and wait a reasonable amount of time for completion.

Well, I did come up with certain strategies for my military and navy, but I don't know whether or not I should keep numbers, just in case.

You should keep track of your military numbers, yes.
As a rule of thumb, people want you to know where you posted military pop., but as people like I have found: finding the posts to prove when you raised your military can be challenging once enough pages have passed.

Ah. I'm reading the Paradox forums right now, but when I return, I'll calculate some numbers.

Oh, and I should mention something about military:

You have to train your military. If you just pull up forces and deploy them, people will take them to be untrained and vastly inferior to professional military. To train them, just say that you place them in training a reasonable amount of time before sending them out.
You can also raise levees. Levees are untrained peasents that fight for you. As a rule of thumb, levees are a last-resort measure for when you are being invaded, but they don't have to be.

I think I will mod the battle for Red Spain now.

THE NEW WALLS OF SPARTA. It now has a 4th step, twice the radius, and have various windows on the 2 top steps allowing for more crossbows to be fired. We also expand on the agriculture system inside the city. The new designs make the walls 45 feet high and 40 feet thick. The mote 30 feet long and 25 feet down. The steps are 10 feet high, excluding the top step which is 15 feet high. The steps have a drop or pit once you make it on top allowing for fall. The top step has a deck where over 100 polybolos's lay also ready to bring down heavier units.

Good luck sieging that. We Spartans are the greatest builders who have ever lived.
