    The Danzig Council has been called by President Augustyn himself. The election that followed was an important one. This election changed the role of the presidency, as well as the workings of the Danzig Council. The role of President was enhanced, mixing bureaucracy and nobility into the new post of Mykral (corruption of low king) who oversees the council as well as the state. The republic's council is now directly elected by it's people, rather than appointed by twenty elector-lords. Long live the Serene Republic of Danzig, and Mykal Augustyn!

    Mykal Augustyn sends diplomats over to the proud nation of Poznan, as well as all other nations, to question them on the workings of their nation. So for example, Danzig is a weak Representative Democracy.

    Danzig is a pretty big hotspot of religious tension. With Poznan being a Jewish hub, Danzig has a sizable Jew minority, but the major religion is the Religion of Romuva, so long live our forever Ancestors on their journey to reincarnation!
