Even then, we've now got the backing of the Persians, and Tyre is strategically placed, so any siege will be very hard for you.
Dalmatian ships have landed in Benghazi. Unfortunate encounters with wild animals and unfriendly locals has lead to the loss of 17 Dalmatian troops, and 30 of the settlers, but the survivors begin to set up a small settlement on the coast, using materials brought on the ships. A local warlord is unhappy with this intrusion on his territory and so ambushes and kills 9 of the settlers as they are drinking by the side of a pool. In retaliation, the Dalmatian troops attack the settlement of the warlord, 300 of them come up against 120 fierce warriors, who are swiftly defeated by the superior Dalmation troops. We lose 45 men in the fight, but the warlord surrenders soon afterwards. Being a fair and just people, we let the warlord and his tribe leave the area, to begin a new life further inland. They will not trouble us again.
Sparta sends 50 men to help Dalmatia. it is entirely up to Dalmatia how they are used we have no control of them anymore.
We have Yews in Tyre too! Why would you betray your Yewish bretheren here by siding with our enemies? OOC: 1000 Dalmatian soldiers have been massacred. I thought this would be relevant, since you are a colonial force in Africa and you came into conflict with the natives and your avatar is from Zulu.
Actually were kind of neutral in this war, although are citizens are currently taking bets on who is going to win.
Dalmatia thanks you for your kind deed. The Spartan troops are of the highest quality, and so will be used to guard the perimeter of the small new settlement, freeing up more Dalmatian troops to protect the groups of settlers exploring this new land, looking for anything new or interesting.
My doubts have been swept away, I now believe Athens and it's allies can with this war quite comfortably.
Hardly. We have Sparta, Carthage, Sardinia, and Macedon. You have Athens, Rome, Tyre, Lavantine guys. if anything we are equal strength.
