We can be like WW3 RP and flip coins for battle. It worked when battles of equal strength needed to be decided. We would like to trade. We want elephants, in trade you get food.
The city state of Aarhus begins to build it first warship in style of the vikings longboats. *Edit* (They are coastal ship.)
I think that there is a definite technological leap from 450 BC technology to ships being able to cross open ocean. Unless you just mean to look like a Viking ship.
Carthage will trade some elephants, combat and forging techniques if you send some Spartan to teach us some trianing and combat techniques.
The Macedonian wining industry is on the top. Across the kingdom almost all harvests had massive amounts of high quality grapes. The fishing industry went up paralellry. These two resulted in a huge bang of population growth (New pop:61 500) For keeping up the new people of the kingdom King Pheseus has said to his people to settle on the new fertile land that lays ahead.(The province with the 3 peninsulas to the south.)
The year is 448 BC. I'll edit the map now. Today's disaster is... A small volcano erupts between Sparta and Athens. 496 Spatans and 1072 Athenians are dead from the ash. It effects local weather for the year, with temperatures a few degrees cooler than usual. Pick what you want to colonize guys, unless you've already picked @Jack118 what did you mean? Did I mess up your province? I'm pretty sure I made you go west.... EDIT: Yes, I like that battle idea. Try it out for now.
OOC: I think I already colonised The Hague yesterday, so today I'll go for Westfriesland to finish up North Holland. Anyway: The scouts that went north had reached the sea. All villages they encountered had joined them. After their tiring journey north, they decided to spend the night on the beach, and made camp there. In the morning, however, ferocious looking, tall men had surrounded the small camp. The scouts left their bows to try and show the men that they were not enemies. After a small conversation, the scouts discovered that the men came from across the sea, from Frisia. They tried convincing the men to join the conglomeration of Rotterdam, but the men refused. They did, however, manage to set up a trade agreement with the Frisians, trading river fish and bows for wheat and simple stone and metal tools and weapons.
No, what @DomoSunz suggested. It seemed the fairest. Yeah you did. I forgot to add you in when I was editing. Many sorrys. Did I get your province right? (westfriesland) Map edit: The black right by Karakoran is a barbarian uprising of 12,000 from surrounding provinces. They claim that Kara's westernmost province should be theirs. Now I'm working on today's population growth. King Mosh orders expanse into the west. They must reach the ocean! To the ocean!
Crete: Ok then, NPC 1500 pirates land on the second, southernmost part of Tyre. They ambush the town there. Garrison size? Additionally, the Cretan pirates slowly take the rest of Crete to use for their base. Rome: Rome would like to trade with Carthage and Sardinia. We have iron, clay, and olives. Event of 448 B.C. The Persians in Babylon would like to announce that they are still there, and begin relations with all nearby states. Babylon is really low, extreme south-east.
