"But if hes not here*hes points north of italy* he must be in a area called Gual, he always was interested in the area."
"THOSE DAMN ATHENIAN BASTARDS!" "Does he have this many contacts how? We also ask what did Romulus do? If he is an enemy of Rome then same can be said for Carthage Sparta and Sardinia."
"He has a powerful tongue and hates the senate and wish for monarchy to rise again, he tried to start a revolt in Rome, 25 people were killed for Rumulues to escape, but my guards say they saw people on the rooftops jumping roof to roof, i thought they were mad."
"The population should decide how to be ruled, from what I have seen that is a republic you have our support in this." "The rooftop must have been escape-way how were they clothed?"
"They were in white clothes, they were a mask made of cloth on their heads, they had bows, but they didn't fire, but if i remark a guard said they sounded like Asumka people, the kingdom that at war with Egypt."
"It has to be them." "I will go to there government and talk of this. Can I count any Romans with me?" "UNHONORABLE BASTARDS!"
"first im must head to Lamingo to get my little sister and take her to my vila, our mother is about to meet the god of death."
"We do not understand your religion but respect it." Meet me in Sparta in 2 months we will talk in my city then move off to deal with the barbarians."
A Spartan soldier in the Dalmatian settlement at Benghazi sees movement in the scrubland beyond the walls. He scans the area, stares intently, and the calls for his duty officer. Out of the scrub comes a small group of what looks like local people, dressed in animal skins. As the duty officer comes strolling up, one of the approaching men calls out. To everyones surprise, he speaks in Greek, a language most Dalmatians are familiar with. The local man introduces himself as a courtier of a king from a city to the south. This King wishes peace with the Dalmatians, and invites the leader of our new settlement to come to their city, to discuss trade. This local man is very confident they have goods the Dalmatians would be eager to buy. As the rest of the local men disappear back into the wilderness, the Greek speaking man approaches the city. We give him accomodation until the governer of our city is ready to travel with him. @Imperial1917 Dalmatia wonders if they can supply you with goods from the east, silks and spices greatly sought after. At this time of war, Dalmatian trade routes are the only way to get goods from Tyre or the Levantine Kingdom, and so are high in price, but valuable.
@russianguy8745 We understand you Romans value purple Tyrian dye, only availible from the east. Dalmatian ships patrol the only safe trade routes between us and the east, while this war is ongoing. We would be happy to supply you with this dye you so revere, but would need something significant in return, as it takes great expense to get this dye to you.
The chance of us taking Athens is almost certain. We ask Dalmatia what they will trade olive oil for if we do take it. @UtterlyImpeccable
Fatkid, and Russianguy, what are you two doing? You spent 3 pages doing what could be done in 3 posts each. EDIT: Rhodes is garrisoned with 5,000 men, from Cyprus.
So, it seems I have returned and there are now twenty more pages to this thread. I'm too lazy to read it all, so could somebody please tell me what happened?
