Wasn't it a few months until the US joined the war against Libya?

Immediate action with respect to what I am stating is that the US President has the authority to authorize the use of troops to a certain extent for a specified timeframe. When he actually does it in respect to the situation in which he means to involve the US in is pretty irrelivant.

That is to say that, for example, the US President could be aware of a crisis in a country for X amount of time, but choose to act only at Y point.

The problem that the impeachment alleges is that he kept the US in the conflict too long. Once the time-span is up, the US President is required to either petition the US Congress to declare war or pull out the US military. He [Obama] is accused of failing to do the former and it is obvious that he did not do the latter.

*Note: This is what I am aware of.

That does explain the whole situation, but I strongly doubt they'll kick him out of office.

And how could someone still vote for Obama? I´m not trying to defend the Republicans (I also fuking hate their political ideals), but Obama is one of the worst presidents in U.S. history.

One of the worst presidents in US history? Hardly. He's no more militaristic than previous presidents and it's not entirely his fault for the current economical situation ya know. Bush didn't do a lot of good for it either. Obama is ten times better than most Reps. Just because the economy is bad (it was bad when he came into office) doesn't mean he is one of the worst presidents in US history, unless you consider him to be a filthy socialist.

Filthy? No. Socialist? A moderate one. Even if the economy was bad before he came to the presidency, his policies failed in solving the crisis and it is because of the private sector that jobs are being regained. Damn, those evil capitalists!

He's not even a moderate socialist though. Did Bush prevent or save the economy from turning into shit before Obama took office?

Obama does not stand for the Democratic or Socialist Party, most GOP Presidents don't stand for the GOP.

Contrary to popular belief this is one of the most unimportant elections we have ever had. No one can change the economic situation in America in a 4 year period.

I agree that the economy wont be fixed in 4 years but I disagree on it being unimportant. Every election is important when there are dumbass and possibly dangerous candidates that could be elected and fuck things up even more.

You cant be fucking serious. The economy would be worse off than it already is without him. Also, the guy has managed his foreign policy expertly. Obama did not break any rules. He kept his forces in Libya for the time allotted. He did nothing wrong. Other than Libya what else can you pin on him? Would you rather have Rick Santorum, Mitt Romney, or the douchebag Newt Gingrich as president? I bet you couldnt even give me 3 good reasons why he should be impeached.

I do agree there. It would be less important if the candidates were sane, but there is a chance for a fat man-whore, a flip flopping robot, a old racist guy, or a sweater vest wearing earmarxist to become president. No thanks, I'll take four more years of Obama.

Rick Santorum used to be hilarious.... Then I found out he was serious. I mean this is the guy that said JFK's speech on secularism "made him throw up". (Btw his family was a big JFK supporter). He also called Obama a "snob" for promoting college education. (Mind you Santorum and his wife both have college degrees). He also said a few years back that America "is being run by Satan" (or something along those lines). Then he proceeds to go on about how he thinks abortion should be illegal even when the life of the women is in serious and immediate danger. That is absolutely disgusting.

In my opinion he runs a close second to Romney.

The main difference is Santorum is bad because he is stupid, but Romney is bad because he is corrupt and will do anything to get a vote, even changing his entire party all together.

Considering I would rather vote Romney than any other of the GOP candidates Santorum is the worst.
