That only works if the kids he got till now are female only. Even with a divorce and remarriage, the first male heir is still the one who inherits (assuming you operate under primogeniture succession)

If I was in his position of a game over, I would cheat to keep my dynasty alive Also it's an option, I find myself starting games with the purpose of how big I can get cheating then Kill myself and watch an Alexander style Succesion war, then reveling in the chaos
They should really put a warning on it though if your a male character. Hell, my game is now really ballsed up. My guy will have to become Mao/Stalin/Hitler all at once to fix this. History will remember him as King Giorgi the Butcher who slaughtered his family for no conceivable reason.
Alright so judge my game guys. I started out as a count of Dal (Neutral Sweden) and went on getting the pope on my side, then I requested an invasion of Sweden and got it. Conquered Sweden then my hungry eyes looked toward Denmark and soon conquered them. After that I went on to fight holy wars with the pagans to control all my side of Sweden, then I conquered Norway. My game got really weird the time I conquered Denmark, my Vassals were so pissed off at me because I wanted this annoying vassal of mine to get assassinated and it kept failing and discovered lol. And I kind of tainted my Dynasty letting in Bastards, so I got tired of Swedish setting and resigned. I might start a new dynasty and focus on pureness and whatnot, because Sweden is just a mess to me.. Its too bad you can't play as the Muslims or the Pagans. But I did find out you can play Ethiopia!

Starting as the King of Denmark is actually interesting you have a few vassals and a small Kingdom that can grow and you have like 15 children so it's really easy to marry them off for alliances. Right now I have alliances with Poland, Hungary, England and Norway. My one son keeps trying to kill his dead nephew and I have to keep carting him off to prison I think the game is a little broken (strangely enough he loves me for it) King Svend II has to choose one of his bastards to promote to Kingship though seeing as I have an elective monarchy all my sons will be vying for fatherly love I never chose to re marry as you start off with no wife seeing that I had a ton of children already Sven's line would probably continue. Things happening around the world are Poland's conquest of the pagans of the Lithuania/Estonia region, the Byzantines are holding strong while the Seljuk turks have splintered, William the Conqueror has taken England but the of of Lancaster has rebelled. England is cut in half while Lancaster owns all of the north. Castille is unifying Spain by taking over it's comrades I worry of the massing Muslim threat. The HRE and France have done dick all lol
