    I always liked the Confederate Fla better than the US Flag. Mainly because it symbolised much more than just unity. The X in the flag is taken from the flags of Scotland and Ireland, showing the ancestry of most living in the south.

    But, I don't think they're all racists, it is generally pride. The Confederacy wasn't incredibly bad. If they had gotten their Independents, they'd probably abolish slavery by the later parts of the 1800's due to technological advancements.

    Well, my room-mate owns a Confederate flag. We prefer the term "Rebel flag" and in our train of thought is simbolizes rebellion. That's why we have it in our living room. And we're not even Americans!

    That's an awful way to look at it.

    Slave driven economies don't have a need to increase their technology. Hence why the only industrialized city in the South at the time of the Civil War was Louisiana and that's only due to the fact that it was a major port town to the French and Spanish. While the North industrialized, the South remained largely rural finding no need to advance their technology. Akin to the Ancient Egyptians. Why didn't they find a more efficient way of building pyramids and creating crops? Because, they had slaves to do. Even the techonologically inclined Greeks who came to Egypt found no needs to increase their technology. The South at the time was largely conservative and the chances of them changing was slim to none.

    Also, to say that slavery would've eventually been abolished in America not by war and with good reason but instead due to technological advancements would've made America's race problems 100000x worse.

    Well most of the Racist organisations got into some oath to not do drugs because of the gangs...but that didnt last very long

    first of all civil war wasn't about slavery that was just a secondary reason it was mostly state rights or else the south would have accepted the peace deal after Gettysburg that said they could keep the slaves

There was no fucking mention of fucking states rights or fucking tariffs or whatever the fuck you fucking think of.
