Indonesia and Australia almost had war in 1999 and Indonesia is full of muslim extremists. Lady Gaga had to cancel her consert there do to death threat by muslim extremist. OK, if Indonesia got conquered by crazy extremists, how could it make a good navy to cross all that Pacific land only to get blown up by American troops? I think you should go for, say, Japan asking to rearm in threat of china or something.
