What I have learned from my family history is that if I go back my fathers line a come upon a noble house named Von Vegesack. The line break from the name Von Vegesack when he got a bastard that got acknowledged but not legalized and then he got the surname of his mother, Ã…hman. It seems that the man with the bastard also had a brother who became a war hero in the American civil war, he had another brother who went to Australia, seems like he was the only one who stayed in Sweden.

Edit: I remember one interesting thing, it seems that I have a family history of drinking oneself to death. Makes me wonder if it is genes or family just acts alike.

My family history is short because not much information has been given. My grandmother (mom side) born in China in 1932,Province Guangzhou....She was poor and China was in Civil war and a War with Japan. I guess the government didn't do much...Later she left China for a better living and went to Vietnam. Settled In the city Saigon French Vietnam..meet my Chinese grandfather....and raised their family there, it was poor but better than China at the time. After the Japanese invasion...the country later fought the French and formed two republics North and South Vietnam. After the split war was approaching.but for the time my family were just poor civilians. After North Vietnam annexed South Vietnam (1975) My family lived under communism for ten years...they told it was hell..the government took everything from them even an extra house that a relative abandoned it. In 1985 my great uncle who was an official sponsor them to leave the country legally. Soon they went on a plane to the Philippines, then later America. they lived in a poor house cramped and tired, but free to live the american dream, My family became lawyer and doctors and now have a better life.(mom side) My dad side lived in southern parts of South Vietnam in 1977 before the government could control the country they left by boat to American..soon my parents meet and now I live a country that is free, That is just a summary.
