The Turks played almost no part in the Third Crusade aside from pestering the Christians, and as such, there was no harassment or slaughter in the era of Saladin. Also, there was actually several thousand Jews who fought in every single crusade. Jerusalem maintained a pretty steady population of them as they were mostly glass and goods dealers. Most of them actually fought, although your right, they didn't play a big role.

Queen Victoria is my favorite, even if she wasn't a King.

i always saw Queen Elizabeth the first as the best English monarch, she guided her nation into a glorious golden age. im not sure when she was in power but i think it was around the founding of my great nation.

During the famine, the UK continued shipping grain out of Ireland. Also, the Ottoman sultan pledged £10,000 to the people there, but Victoria asked him to send only £1,000 as she'd only sent £2,000. The English courts also tried to stop the Ottomans sending three boats full of grain to help the people.

And instead of giving out food she made work schemes where people barely able to walk had to work to get food

Interesting, that's a really bad thing to do when famine strikes.
