Finland had really lame leaders, with few exceptions. I go with Mannerheim although I dont really like him, but he is bad ass. Served in Russian Imperial Army, fought against Japanese and led a cavalry brigade against the germans in 1st world war. After that he led Whites to victory in Finnish civilwar. After that he led us when we fought off two superpowers alone, Germany & Soviet Union.

He is considered to be the finn of the finns, witch is ironic because he lived half his life in St. Petersburg, had russian wife and eate russian food.

Oliver Cromwell, because I couldn't put him on the 'favourite English king' thread, and because i've always liked the vaguely Fascist idea of Lord Protector. Plus, despite some dubious acts, I think Cromwell had some principles.

Duarte Pacheco Pereira, Portuguese sea captain, soldier, explorer and cartographer
    http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/0/04/Duarte_Pacheco_Pereira.jpg

This guy was a badass. Why? He was able to defeat an army of thousands of enemies (and hundreds of vessels) with only 150 portuguese soldiers and three ships.

Because of that, he was named by Luis de Camões (one of the greatest poets in the history of the world) as the "Lusitanian Achilles" (Aquiles Lusitano, in portuguese).

King James IV. A king who garnered respect all across Europe, he ruled wisely over his people with a fair hand, encouraging innovation so that the kingdom might flourish and prosper for the benefit of all, from the grandest noble to the lowliest peasant.

Too bad he was a shit general, leading his troops straight into a massacre at Flodden Field. Hey ho.

Favourite President is a tough one considering none of the American Presidents in our history have ever done anything to make them my favourite,

I dunno... But the Netherlands does not have actual great and awesome leaders in my opinion. Unlike France, Britain and Germany. Their history is filled that kind of leaders.
