Does an "El Presidency" count as a dictatorship?

Well an "El Presidency" is where people can vote for the leader of the country every five years, but the presidente can hold unlimited terms (basically until death or voted out).

The neighboring nation of Burundi is tribal and rejects western ideas and advancing. Many famines have broken their people but still hold on too their tribal beliefs. The El Presidency of Tanzania invades Burundi to liberate the people from these ancient ways.

You don't need to be a dictator, you just need to be fascist or national-socialist. You must understand that we hate everything which has nothing to do with the African master race, right?

Well i haven't figured out if i should have a congress or parliament, but I would consider myself a democracy just for the fact that my people can vote for a new El Presidente. But I do give direct orders for now until i go more left.

Is your El Presidente in office right now a fascist (they can be elected democratically, like Hitler was), or is he not?

Since you have a fascist government right now, you are officially invited to my little party congress/state visit.

OOC: You know what I just thought. Maybe Josef has codewords and coffee means vodka. That means Josef has been making "vodka casts"!

Well before El Presidente goes to the party meeting, he orders the construction of a road network. Paved roads and highways between major cities and towns and dirt roads to all villages. He then orders the construction of an automobile factory to build cars to drive on said roads. He then lowers the payment for schooling to get more kids into school.

Can I be Malawi, and I will state that I am neutral in this land grab... I will not permit any military access to anyone for now.

The country has a small population and is mostly farm land. The only factories, if any, are foreign and the leader was put in power by the UK.

El Presidente drove his new M1 tanzanian car to the speech at the palace. Well, people pushed the car while El Presidente turned the wheel. The car was lacking fuel to make the car start, so he came up with a brilliant idea. He purchased blueprints and ordered the building of a kerosene refinery. He also got some foreign geologists to look for sounrces of oil within the country. He also is willing to drill in other african nations if permission is given to. ( You can now ask for Tanzanian Cracking Operations within your country now!!!)
