Why when we can drill here?

Can't the government build its own oil drills for things like using in the military, and government planes like Air Force One, and perhaps the government cars.

And why would they need to?
They already do have privet reserves for the military, you know.
And why would the American public want them to spend billions of taxpayers' money on a setup that only benefits politicians?

I thought you were small government. That proposal is as big a government expansion as I have ever seen on this forums.

Yeah, but that is only for things like government needed cars, its not social programs or government run healthcare.

But why would the American public want them to spend billions of US taxdollars to benefit only a handful of people?

If you are saying drivers, pilots, US troops, and government officials are not a lot of people I do not know what is wrong with you.

If I was American I would not like having my tax dollars wasted to drill for oil specifically for the military.

As I stated before, the military already has their own oil reserves. That leaves just the politicians. And NOBODY wants them to have anything more than the excess they already have and have not earned one iota of.

If military has them then I am OK with that. I don't think there is a problem buying oil to save money for cars.

The US military has its own oil reserves. The largest scandal before Watergate had to do with the Secretary of the Interior trying to sell military reserves.

    Alright, here we go.

After reading this, I can say that OP is full of poop. The entire post, wherever it may have originated, is for the purpose of attracting car owners across the United States. And once they read they will become angry, and, they will have someone to blame for it. The person to blame is, of course, Barrack Obama. This might all just be part of a humongous flame war between Democrap's and Republican'ts, and is solely to reduce hype for Obama. And it is a horrible attempt at doing so. It is just more meaningless, exaggerated crap that we see all too often on major media outlets, internet webpages and in tiny conversations between two idiots. In no way could one man, whoever he may be, whatever his importance is to the U.S Congress, or any Government system around the world, influence or alleviate the rising prices of oil products. What a waste of time.

Whoever said that someone running a country is worthless. Was your favorite political leader worthless?

Of course my favorite wasn't worthless! HE GOT STUFF DONE THAT I LIKED.
The current crop of US politicians seemed more interested in earmarks and bickering while the nation struggles to cope with an economic recovery.
Besides that, they threaten to upset the delicate balence that is propelling the nation's recovery by denying the passage of badly needed reforms whist also promoting reforms that either make no sane sense to pass at this time and will damage the recovery or have no bearing on the crucial topics at hand.
