Good point, and while humans are progressively getting larger, humans no longer have any need to grow larger, and won't grow to the size of elephants.

We will continue evolving larger and larger though. Its been suggested that human evolution will evolve us considerably both physically and mentally. Physically, its been suggested humans may slowly lose the hair on their bodies and become both taller and more muscular on average. Mentally, its been suggested that humans may one day develop telepathy and even a hive mind. The physical evolution sounds more realistic to me than the mental evolution.

The thing is that averaged-sized people actually have more kids on average than tall people. It's weird, but they do. We'll keep growing because of nutrition and all, but there is an asymptote there.

Well that doesn't really matter. Evolution continues to make us grow, along with our nutrition and medicine. However, its very slow. And I'm willing to guess we will stop growing once we hit an average of like 7 feet or so, which is a little scary.
