Napoleon was a good general and lots of armys began to use his tactics but Welington pioneered the way to beat the french tactics and true he only bested napoleon once but he never lost a major battle while Napoleon lost several and he did win by luck it was skill the only lucky part was were marshal ney thought he was retreating and charged all the cav at the british that simpley formed squares. and you would not be speaking french because we live on an island and the french had no navy that compared to the british.

Well youve got a good point there. Especially since he thinks Wellington was better
wellington beat Napoleon ergo Welington is better Welington never lost a major battle Napoleon did ergo Welington is better
OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG I am going to explode! Wellington did not defeat Napoleon. Wellington was defeated. Blucher defeated Napoleon. Your ignorance amazes me

I guess you can forget that Napoleon's tactics were used for well I dont know, the rest of the 19th century. Could Wellington steamroll Prussia? Could Wellington turn a pathetic army (Italian ccampaign) into an effective fighting force, could Wellington take Vienna in 3 months?

Eh he's kind of right... Other then the Spetznaz beating the green berets you have: Swat somehow beating GsG9, The cia beating the KGB, the Seals somehow beating the Israelis, Washington miraculously beating Napoleon, and the Rangers over the North Koreans.

Now I'd agree on the CIA and the rangers, but the rest are pretty unbalanced, and the fact that you go with the Americans on each instance does show some bias.

Exactly.... They didn't specify which unit, but I would put even the Brigade Sayaret's over the average Seals....

The Shayetet 13 (The Israeli equivalent of the Seals) would wipe the floor with the Seals. Hell, any Sayaret could defeat the Seals. They are some of the, if not the, most elite soldiers/special ops units in the world.

I always thought they were pretty equal plus they crosstrain with each other, so that should at least make them somewhat equal. How does the training for shayetet 13 compare to the Seals?
