I've just completed A Farewell To Arms for my JRP (Junior Research Project) and have to say, Hemingway is still the kind of guy who will pull out a ruler if you challenge his manliness. I mean the book is supposed to be based off his experiences in the war but he was never stationed on the front and acts as if he single-handedly out maneuvered both the German and Italian armies. Great writer but the guy personally gets under my skin.
